What we believe
- We believe in one God, Creator of all things, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and that it is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
- We believe that man was created perfect in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also that spiritual and eternal death which is separation from God, and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and we are sinners in thought, word, and deed.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. Through faith in Him, we can be reconciled to God and receive eternal life.
- We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts us of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He guides us into all truth, and empowers us for life and service.
- We believe in the Church, which is the body of Christ, made up of all believers in Him. We believe the local church is a visible manifestation of the body of Christ. We believe in the celebration of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Table, the gathering of the Saints, and the advancement of the Gospel.
- We believe in the second coming of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment. We believe in the reality of heaven and hell. We believe that those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ will spend eternity with Him in heaven and those who reject Him will spend eternity in hell.
- We believe in the importance of evangelism, missions, and service to others, as we seek to share the love of Christ by the advancement of the Gospel.
